    i bought this at my local Thrifty Shopper for, like, 50 cents just yesterday at like, p.m., and this is a really great book. it's the original Rev. W. Awdry stories combined with images from the TV series. this book contains the stories Percy and Harold and Percy Takes the Plunge. actually, i have it sitting right next to me right now! it's a really great book and, yes, they call Sir /5(2). Biography. Percy Edward Thomas was born on 13 September in South Shields, County Durham, the son of a sea captain from Narberth in Pembrokeshire, with whom the family often travelled.
